INTRODUCTION: A friend told me not too long ago, “People see meekness as weakness.” True? I think so. In our world today, humility is seen as weakness. Even respecting fellow peers is seen as a sign of weakness – yet to be used by GOD, we must be Humble. I realize and understand that GOD only uses humble willing vessels. So I prayed, and I asked – ‘What is true Humility, teach me true Humility.’ Only last week I walked into Sunday Bible Studies and studies was being done on this very subject. An answer to prayer.

Scripture teaches us that:

Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 1 Peter 5:5-6.

Not only are we to submit to elders, but to one another (the church). Those who are clothed with Humility will be exalted and used by YAHUVEH GOD, even in these end times.

GOD will not work through an arrogant vessel, for a arrogant vessel will go right when GOD says left. A arrogant person will steal GOD’s glory and bestow it upon himself/herself. GOD only uses the humble, and we see this in scriptures.

“…Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.” Numbers 12:3. The man Moses, was mightily used by YAHUVEH GOD in so many things. Through him GOD gave mankind His commandments, plagued Egypt, split the Red Sea, rained manna from Heaven, gushed water from a rock, and the list goes on and on.

Moses spoke directly with YAHUVEH GOD:

And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.

My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house.

With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses? Numbers 12:6-8.

Why was Moses so elevated, even among prophets? Why was he so favored by GOD? Because he was Humble. “…God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.” James 4:6. Not only so, but he was faithful in all GOD’s house. Moses was a humble, faithful servant of GOD. Moses knew his role as a servant of the Most High. Again, he was a faithful servant of YAHUVEH GOD. These are all characteristics of true Humility, being a faithful servant. Even as YAHUSHUA set the example for us when He “riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself. After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded.” John 13:4-5.

What is true Humility, teach me true Humility

• True humility is not weakness, but rather self awareness. Understanding who we are – servants and children of GOD. Yet it is not by our might that we serve Him, but by His Spirit. Neither is it by our power that we have became His children – we were born into His Family through His RUACH ha KODESH (Holy Spirit). John 3:5-6.

Those who are humble understand that it is GOD who sustains them in ALL things.

• True humility is wisdom (Holy Spirit). And as scriptures teach “…the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23. The more we are filled with the Holy Spirit, the more Humble we become as we understand that we are only tools that YAHUVEH GOD uses, it is His power, His strength, His wisdom, His words that move the mountains.

Like electricity and wires. We are wires which GOD chooses to conduct HIS Power through- by ourself we can do absolutely nothing.

• True Humility is not allowing prosperity, possession, or position to make you think more highly of yourself.

In a church, while everyone waited for the Pastor to come and preach the Word, this certain man was in the bathroom scrubbing and cleaning. After he finished cleaning the bathroom, this man changed His clothing, put on His suit, and made his way to the pulpit and preached to the congregation.

To be humble is to always see your self as a child and a servant of GOD. This man who was cleaning the bathroom was the Pastor of that church. GOD did not call him to be served, but to serve. True humility is not allowing the position Father YAHUVEH has given us effect our role as His servants “who are faithful in all His house”.

Again, to the example that our Lord and King set for us. When eating the last supper, we often see YAHUSHUA portrayed sitting in the center – this accurate. The seat in the center is the most honorable, the most important person sat there. Let’s look at something. Verse 4 & 12 of John 13: “He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself“….-….”So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you?“

This is a sign of true humility, being able to perform humble tasks while holding a place of great honor. YAHUSHUA rose from His place of honor and took on a servant’s role, after He finished He returned to His place of Honor (a picture of what He came to do on Earth for us). We must not allow pride to get in the way of performing the will of GOD.

• True Humility is glorifying GOD, and not yourself. YAHUSHUA/Jesus did not come on earth to glorify Himself, He came to Glorify His Father in Heaven, our Lord YAHUSHUA receives His glory from Father GOD Himself. So do we receive our Glory from GOD. “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:” 1 Peter 5:6. If we brag, we brag of how great YAHUSHUA Messiah is.
  

 Our Lord’s Words on the Matter:

1 – I choose to use this vessel because she thinks she is the weakest of the lot, but I say once again, I will use the humble and meek, those who no one thinks I will use for MY power shows up best in weak people. Others know it is not of them and they don’t boast. For they know it is only MY anointing that breaks every yoke, fetter, chain, shackle and bondage. It is not by your might nor power but by MY Spirit. Thus saith YAHUSHUA, “I chose to come as a babe, the weakest of all to prove, don’t look on the outward, look on the inward. The anointing knows no gender, race, age.”

The RUACH ha KODESH (Holy Spirit) uses willing, obedient vessels of clay, not those that shout, “Use me because I am so beautiful, I am more holy than the rest.” I will not use those who think they are gold; I use those that know they are broken vessels of clay but mighty warriors for YAHUSHUA ha MASHIACH. In 1997, I will launch out those who have had ministries that have remained humble or nonexistent to the mass majority.

I will use those who think they are not popular, beautiful, lack the education, those that know they can do nothing without MY anointing of the RUACH ha KODESH (Holy Spirit). Those that have been discarded, abused, ignored, told to give up, it’s not worth it.

I am going to prove MY Word cannot return unto ME void. Beware who you discard as worthless. For it’s the pastor who has the small flock, but insists that the RUACH ha KODESH have full control no matter how many of the sheep leave for churches where there is no signs, wonders, miracles, for there is no conviction of the RUACH ha KODESH either.

It will be the nobodies that I am raising up, the unknowns that I will work MY signs, wonders and miracles through, and a mouth piece for YAHUVEH. For they are not a nobody. Only in the eyes of the proud. They are a somebody to ME for I can and will use them mightily for MY Praise, Honor, and Glory. For they will not steal that from ME like others have tried to do.
