Thought of the Day: Loving God with all your Heart, Soul, and Might.

The Greatest Commandment in scripture is to: “love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.” Deuteronomy 6:5.

YAHUSHUA, when asked which of the commandment is greatest, replied saying:

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. Matthew 22.37-38.

Love Without Works is dead.

Just as faith without works is dead, so is love without works dead. If we say we love the Lord, we must prove it by our deeds.

So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep. John 21:15-17.

Why did YAHUSHUA ask this? As Peter stated in verse 17, YAHUSHUA knows all things, yet why did He ask if Peter loves Him?

He was telling Peter that he must prove his love. If you love me, then feed my sheep and lambs. It’s not enough to say ‘I love You God’, we must put action behind those words. We must prove our love with works (action).

A very popular verse reads like this:

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16.

YAHUVEH God Loves us so much that He gave His only begotten Son to save you and I. He did not stand afar and pronounce His love for us, no – He proved His love by giving us His only begotten Son.

Even on the cross, because YAHUSHUA loves us so, He prayed for those who tortured and abused Him, asking His Father, “Father,  forgive them; for they know not what they do…” Luke 23:34.

Proving Our Love

The Below is an excerpt from Prophecy 8 through Prophet Elisabeth Elijah. These are our Lord’s Words on the matter:

Fear not, your Bridegroom doth come. Hold on tight to your faith, for although I am quiet I am testing those that proclaim their love for ME. But by feeding, warning MY sheep you will be proving your love for ME. By willing to suffer persecution, hatred, rejection for MY Name sake, you are proving your love for ME. By holding on tight to your faith though with your eyes you can’t see the answer to your prayers, you will be proving your love for ME as you say, “YAHUSHUA even if you never answer another prayer I worship you for who you are, for what you did for me at Calvary.”

This will prove your love for ME, by being willing to lay your reputations down for ME and if need be to sacrifice your lives for the Gospel of YAHUSHUA. This will prove your love for ME, by obeying ME, and seeking ME, and openly confessing and worshipping ME. This will prove your love for ME.

By exposing the wolves in the sheep’s den that come to devour the sheep, by picking up MY sword of the RUACH ha KODESH and defending MY sheep you will prove your love for ME. You say you love ME MY Children? Then by standing for holiness and for right and not wrong, by being conformed to MY image and not that of the world you will prove your love for ME. I end this with one question, “Will you prove your love for ME”? Amightywind Prophecy 8, Will You Prove You Love ME?
